About me

Hello! My name is Eleni.

I’m a Seattle based, self-taught artist. I paint what I love and what makes me happy, which almost always ends up being food. There’s just so many colors and textures to play with, and I’m a big believer that there’s always room for dessert. The other half of the time, I love painting animals—especially birds. I enjoy bringing out the personality of each creature and thinking about what type of expression to convey. Painting birds is what inspired me to try oil painting several years ago and I never looked back. A paint that dries as slow as I work? Perfect. I also dabble in digital art, which offers the lovely undo button. My art style gravitates towards sharp shadows, intense colors, and leaving visible brushstrokes. These details are where I get to experiment and take life’s under appreciated objects and turn them into art. My goal is to keep learning and growing as a painter. Thank you for following me along :)

The Prints

All prints are made using archival inkjet printing, also called giclée. This printing process is popular among artists because of its high resolution, longevity, and beautiful quality. Artworks are printed using a 10-ink system on Canson Rag Photographique 310 gsm paper. This museum grade, fine art paper is made of 100% cotton and is archival, meaning it will not yellow over time and stays looking brand-new.
